—And to be HONEST, it’s NICE to finally be able to use this WEALTH of resources to move our creative empire along! —Hell, folks spend MORE to eat out than we’re spending on building our foundation, so along with our time and effort, we SHOULD be seeing these kinds of rewards! 💥 We CAN'T help it that it’s upsetting to folks who think they can do better and think maybe that we don’t “deserve” to receive this reward. 😳🙄🤷🏽‍♀️

Hater-ade???? 🙄

—I don’t want to spend too long on it, but we had what can ONLY be considered a “hater” situation. 😳 I ONLY mentioned it, because we USUALLY are showing off all the good parts of the journey, but this was something that was challenging–and kinda hurt. But in an effort to be transparent, we thought we’d share how we are choosing to see past it and found our “joy” in the fact that someone who has been a lurky-loo–but was a family friend–finally stepped out of the shadows to say something. –It’s a shame that this “something” that he was saying did not communicate itself as truly caring about us and, instead, seemed to imply that, because we don’t do things “right,” perhaps we don’t deserve to have the accolades that we’re getting. 🙄 –The bottom line is that we KNOW that he probably would have NEVER said anything, if he hadn’t felt threatened in some way, so we’ve already forgiven him–since apologized PROFUSELY after the episode was posted–but we thought it was sucky that we had to even go through that. 🤷🏽‍♀️
