The BIG Take-Aways:
Wow! This is a rather big topic, but we will do our best to keep it short.
New gear sometimes inspires us, but we also like to look to cultural trends—like Asian-inspired bridal gowns trend—for inspiration for looks for videos and for photo shoots. Or, as we’ve probably mentioned before, we get inspired by dialogue in movies—and I am constantly jotting down bits of phrase that I want to remember—so that when it is time to create, we have a treasure-trove of fun and waiting ideas to pull from. As artists, we feel that we need to be open antennas and draw inspiration from whatever is going on around you. It helps to listen to a variety of types of music, reading many different books, watching biographies of creative individuals, and learning how to play things through YouTube could all give you some inspiration to create something new.
