Here are things to consider regarding using humor in your art
(as a D.I.Y. Rock Star): ⭐️
Here are some Pros:
1. It’s great as a means of expression
As an artist, you want to express yourself fully and who says you can’t have a little fun even as you’re commuting some deep, thought-provoking message.
2. It’s great if it is ALREADY a part of your branding
If humor is a natural part of what you do and t means that you’re fans are probably already expecting it and loving it.

Here are some Cons:
1. Can offend folks
It can terrible, if it offends that very people who are supposed to “get you” As you might know, sometimes things aren’t received well, due to the delivery or the cultural climate. In this case, just be sure that you are comfortable with possibly being perceived of poorly.
2. Could be what you get known for
It can be terrible, if this is what you end up going viral for. –Again, the ONLY folks that know you, found out that you might seem culturally-insensitive, which could be a turn-off for newer, potential fans.
