Rock Star Rewind: Heading into Holidays (December 2018)
It’s hard to believe that the holidays are upon us and we are winding down the year!
Blog-Vember, Here We Come!
We’re going to do Blog-vember again—which is 30 days of posts. It is a real challenge, but it’s super fun too. This time, however, I think the older and wiser me is kicking in. Instead of the chaos that characterized last year’s Blog-vember—with multiple posts in a variety of genres, hastily put together at the very last minutes (sometimes)—this year, I have planned it out much better.
I chose a theme that’s like the game “20 Questions”—only in our case, it’s “30 questions.” I put 30 pretty random questions in a bag, we chose from the bag and both of us answered the questions posed. Bruce had no idea what the questions were (and that’s what kept it exciting for me!).
We have already recorded the video and now, it’s about me doing what I do to magically make it a video, a podcast, and a blog post—yes, ALL the things! But that’s what us bloggers do, right? I was encouraged by Mr. Blog Millionaire, Brandon Gaille, to post more than once a week, so that we can grow faster and this is one way to make that happen. --Who knows, if this works out, I may try to do other super-short videos for more rapid release. All I can say is, stay tuned to see the blogging fur fly!
Facebook Groups Surprise
I am so loving this whole Facebook groups thing….
It’s like throwing a virtual party, where I KNOW I’ve invited folks with the same interests, but it is my job to break the ice and get them talking to each other.
The thing is, when I first started them—nearly 2 months ago—I thought they were going to require skills that I don’t possess; I thought that being a social butterfly was the PRIME requirement. But now I see that it’s sooo much easier than that. You see, these folks are TRULY interested in the major topic of the group and from them interacting with me is making me WANT to find new and exciting things to share with them every day. In fact, not a day goes by when I don’t think of what new question, related article, or resource I can bring to them, which actually makes me more excited to sift through magazines, webinars, and posts to bring them new, interesting, and useful stuff.
I am going to spend some time trying to figure out how to make them talk to each other, but baby steps, right?

Time Flew
Wow! We have spent sooooo much time trying to plan out the new 3 months that we are pretty sparse on our output, but we know that it’ll all be worth it when the holidays are here and we are sharing finger-licking goodness while enjoying friends, family, and festivities at the same time.
–Plus, in my effort to renew the commitment to the other side of the aisle—the music publishing and record company sister (Prejippie Music Group, Inc.)—I have had to shore up some of the foundation and am beginning to build up on that end, as well. (—I am planning to do a new music video every week to showcase the amazingly eclectic music.)
