Yes! More Nickelback, please. Canadian Bands We Love

Hustle for Musicians --Blooming Prejippie Zine

Yes, more Nickelback, please.

—Well, we started this post by planning to defend Nickelback against what we think are haters—and to propose that those haters are only elevators, since we wouldn’t still be talking about them now if it wasn’t for those haters……But I digress.

Anyway, this post was originally going in THAT direction. That is, until we realize that many of the bands that we truly LOVE come from waaaay up north. We have loved them over the years and had no idea where they were from, but then there were many that we discovered through our local alternative radio station in the 90s and early 2ks, yet and still, there were some huge early rock groups that we KNEW came from Canada. We've put them all in a basket and are serving them up in this post. Enjoy!
